Reporting to the People & Organization Workforce Solutions team, you will serve as a People & Organization (HR) Advisor-Manufacturing focused on People Relations and HR Operations. You will manage and resolve employee relations matters, promote positive employee experience, and ensure consistent application of People & Organization policies. You’ll also collaborate across the People & Organization ecosystem, site leadership, and Shared Services (GBS) to drive solutions, review employee lifecycle changes, and address workforce challenges.
This position, based in Hingham, MA, plays a key role in delivering high-quality HR support for your assigned client groups. This position will also support other mid-size manufacturing sites for operational topics.
As the site’s primary contact for employee and manager inquiries, you’ll champion a people-centric approach, support day-to-day operational needs, and help create a positive work environment. Your work will enable process efficiencies and drive organizational success.
We are seeking a People & Organization (Human Resources) Advisor-Manufacturing, with the position located onsite at our Hingham, MA manufacturing site.
You will make an impact by:
- Fostering a Positive Work Environment: Engage employees empathetically, promote open communication, and act as a bridge between employees, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Facilitating Dispute Resolution: Identify root causes of conflicts, provide counsel, and propose fair resolutions compliant with company policies. Follow handbooks and agreements as required.
- Leveraging system thinking: Navigate, troubleshoot & consult on people impact systems proficiently, approve employee data changes, manage employee changes both small and large, and provide customized support.
- Provide Training: Promote a positive work environment through training (either coordinated or given) on hot topics for managers and employees. Provide onboarding and P&O orientation for new employees.
- Maintaining an onsite presence to reflect the onsite employee and management populations.
- Having a Continuous Improvement & Efficiency Mindset: Diagnose bottlenecks in processes/systems and ensure accuracy. Recommend and implement improvements.
- Engaging and collaborating with key stakeholders: Foster relationships as a key interface and responsive partner to internal and external stakeholders. Drive complex issue resolution and facilitate conversations between diverse groups. Work with stakeholders to identify risks and build proactive solutions.
- HR Systems, Data Integrity & Reporting: Support daily HR lifecycle processes and validate HRIS transactions for accuracy and compliance. Prepare HR documentation and assist with organizational changes and org chart updates. Audit HRIS data, resolve discrepancies, and partner with Shared Services on data quality and processes.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing or distribution environment, with a strong focus on People Relations and Employee Relations.
- 3-5 years of experience demonstrating the ability to coach and guide managers on people relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- 3+ years of experience with HR policies and procedures and a history of responsiveness, quality service, and process efficiency with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work 4 days per week on site, covering a second shift at times.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and privacy, ensure protection of data, and demonstrate responsible use of data access.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships through strong communication, interpersonal skills, and constructive conflict resolution.
- Critical thinking: Ability to leverage data to influence decision-making, solve problems, and implement innovative HR solutions that align with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliverables while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Balances quality and quantity well.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trust and build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks while prioritizing effectively.
- Bilingual in English and Vietnamese is a preferred qualification for this site.
- Workday experience highly preferred.
- HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

- The pay range for this position is $82,538-$141,494, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
