We are looking for a Director of Project Management Organization. This position will be based in either Hingham MA or Atlanta GA.
You’ll make a difference with:
Leadership & Organization Development
- Lead, develop, and coach four PMO sub-teams—Project Management, Order Management (Customer Service), Integrated Business Planning, and Order Administration—while designing and evolving organizational structures, development plans, and training programs to support scalable growth.
- Foster a culture driven by accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and long-term capability building.
Project & Execution Management
- Oversee end-to-end project execution (“cradle to grave”), including change-order processing, backlog management, and timely release of orders to support production loading.
- Ensure effective PMO representation in project meetings and coordination across engineering, operations, service, and other cross-functional teams.
Customer & Collaborator Engagement
- Serve as a senior escalation point for customers and sales teams, managing communication, issue resolution, and the flow of critical project and order information throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead customer satisfaction measurement and improvement efforts, including surveys and action planning, and strengthen collaboration with the Field Service organization to enhance service-phase customer experience and improve service revenue forecasting accuracy.
Financial & Business Management
- Demonstrate strong business and financial competence, including P&L ownership, profitability, manufacturing cost structures, and overhead management.
- Partner closely with Finance to close invoices, resolve disputes, support cash collection activities, and ensure proper warranty activation while serving as the primary point of contact for project-related warranty matters.
Planning, Operations & Reporting
- Own the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure appropriate manufacturing capacity loading and effective service resource scheduling.
- Partner with shipping and logistics to ensure accurate, timely delivery, and define, monitor, and report key performance indicators such as change-order volume, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), invoice dispute resolution rate, and delivery reliability.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve performance, predictability, and operational outcomes.
Systems, Digitalization & Process Improvement
- Create and maintain digitalization and automation tools that improve PMO efficiency, scalability, and overall customer experience.
- Leverage ERP systems and analytics to enhance visibility, forecasting, and execution, while supporting and leading strategic enterprise initiatives as needed.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED required; bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- 7+ years of experience with the following:
- Management, project leadership, or program leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and collaborator management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both critical initiatives and tactical execution.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle management
- Business financial acumen including experience with P&L, cost structures, and profitability
- Knowledge of contractual and legal frameworks related to projects and customer agreements.
- Experience overseeing project execution from start to finish.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- ERP experience in SAP, Oracle, or similar systems (or strong willingness to learn).
- Knowledge of power distribution and protection products in support of critical power facilities (data center, hospital, airport, etc..)
- PMP training or certification.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP or IBP).
- Digital transformation, process automation, or system implementation.
- Background in engineered, or made-to-order manufacturing environments.

The pay range for this position is 145,156 - 248839 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
