The Advantedge AI team, which is part of the Advantedge Services team in Global Customer Success (GCS) is a team of strategic problem solvers and leaders with vision who focus on collecting solution and enterprise knowledge, implement systems to lead knowledge and project execution, improving by evolving standard methodologies and guidelines, and using Knowledge by making it consumable through services offers.
As part of the Advantedge AI program, we are accelerating value delivery through intelligent process optimization, standardizing AI facilitation practices, and fostering innovation that multiplies impact across the enterprise.
As an integral part of the Advantedge AI team, you will significantly contribute to the success of our Global Customer Success workforce helping our professionals seeking maximum efficiency and effectiveness in delivering our solutions.

The Advantedge AI (A-AI) CoE Leader is a critical leadership role that bridges technical perfection with operational efficiency.
As the Advantedge AI CoE Leader, you will:
• Lead and handle a high-performing team of AI Specialists and Co-Op AI Developers, providing mentorship, career development, performance management, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Drive operational quality for the A-AI CoE by establishing and optimizing workflows, development, verification & validation processes, quality standards, and delivery methodologies, drive automation that ensure consistent, high-quality AI solution development and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with the Advantedge AI Program Manager on tracking systems, reporting processes, budget management, operating model refinement, and capacity planning to ensure efficient resource utilization and program success.
• Work with the Advantedge AI CoE and other authorities to translate technical architectures and standard methodologies into actionable development plans, ensuring your team has the guidance, tools, and support needed to implement AI use cases from conceptualisation to production.
• Coordinate with the Advantedge AI Architecture & Best Practices Lead to ensure alignment between architectural vision and operational execution, facilitating knowledge transfer and maintaining technical standards across all development activities.
• Lead Epic and Use Case delivery by planning sprints, tracking progress, removing blockers, and ensuring timely delivery of AI solutions that meet business objectives and quality standards defined by the program.
• Enable Performance Intelligence by implementing metrics frameworks to supervise team productivity, use case delivery velocity, business impact, technical debt, and continuous improvement opportunities across the CoE operations.
• Develop Innovation by facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, tech talks, multi-functional collaboration, participation in Siemens AI Communities, and creating channels for standard methodology exchange within and beyond the CoE.
• Support talent development and recruitment by identifying skill gaps, coordinating training programs, participating in hiring processes, and building a strong pipeline of AI talent for the CoE's growth.
• Represent the A-AI CoE in program meetings, steering committee updates, and multi-functional forums, providing insight into team progress, challenges, achievements, and resource needs.
• Drive Adoption and Enablement to ensure smooth handoffs of AI solutions to production support, comprehensive documentation, and effective user enablement materials.
Your role to engage as a trusted advisor within our organization will lead you to interact with Senior leaders and drive critical business decisions. You will be part of global initiatives that are aimed at shaping future processes and systems, including the Advantedge AI Program's strategic objectives. We are not looking for superheroes, just super minds.
Required Qualifications:
• You are a Graduate / Post-Graduate (Bachelors/Masters) in Engineering or Computer Science or Data Science with 15 to 20 years of experience in IT services, software development, and at least 3-5 years in people management roles.
• You have validated people management experience including hiring, performance management, career development, mentoring diverse teams, conflict resolution, and fostering inclusive team culture in global, distributed environments.
• With an engineer's background you have passion for seeking improvements, you love working with people and enjoy collaborating in international, teams with varied strengths.
• You have strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in software development, understanding of modern development practices (Agile/SAFe, DevOps, Unrestricted CI/CD), leading Epics, sprints/iterations and supervising progress with ALM tools, and ability to engage in technical discussions with architects and developers.
• You have validated understanding of Generative AI technologies and their practical applications in enterprise contexts, including understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, and intelligent automation capabilities.
• You demonstrate experience leading AI/ML projects or teams working on AI enabled solutions, understanding the unique challenges of AI development lifecycle from use case conceptualisation through production deployment and monitoring.
• You understand AI platform management fundamentals, including data quality requirements, model performance monitoring, user feedback loops, and the operational aspects of maintaining AI solutions in production.
• You have experience with resource planning, capacity management, and budget oversight, including forecasting needs, optimizing utilization, and making data-driven decisions about team composition and allocation.
• You have awareness of Siemens DISW software solutions such as Teamcenter, Polarion, Mendix, Capital, Simcenter, Opcenter, or similar enterprise platforms, and understand how AI can enhance these solutions.
• You can share experiences from collaborator management roles, including coordinating with senior leaders, managing expectations, bringing up issues appropriately, and communicating sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• You're a self-starter with ability to operate independently, bring in collective experience to develop solutions for complex problems, drive initiatives to completion, and inspire others to follow.
• You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to collaborate with variety of teams globally across hierarchies, combined with extensive experience communicating team progress, challenges, and solutions to senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications (You'll have an edge if you have):
• People Management certifications or training in leadership development, coaching, Performance management, or organizational development.
• Project Management / Agile certifications (PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or similar) Demonstrating formal training in project and program management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled platforms such as HelixAI, Mendix AI capabilities, ai charge, or other enterprise AI solutions used within Siemens or similar organizations.
• Experience with AI use case management, including prioritization frameworks, business value assessment, ROI tracking, and balancing innovation with operational delivery.
• Deep knowledge of responsible AI principles including fairness, visibility, bias detection, accuracy verification, ethical AI practices, and experience implementing AI governance frameworks.
• Experience with performance intelligence tools and metrics frameworks for software development teams, including velocity tracking, quality metrics, technical debt management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and SaaS operations, including cost optimization, resource provisioning, security considerations, and leading applications in cloud environments.
• Experience with knowledge management systems and fostering communities of practice, including facilitating tech talks, maintaining documentation standards, and building knowledge-sharing culture.
• Awareness of Digital Twin concepts, Industry 4.0 technologies, and how AI enhances digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing and engineering domains.
• Experience working in global delivery models with distributed teams across time zones, understanding cultural nuances, and building cohesive teams.

This role is based in Pune, India and reports directly to the Advantedge AI Program Manager within the Advantedge AI program structure. You will work closely with senior collaborators and functional leaders to ensure detailed execution of the A-AI CoE's mission and deliver against the A-AI and Advantedge Services goals and objectives.
The role may require travel up to 10% but you'll need to go wherever this journey takes you. You'll be leading the operational heart of our AI transformation journey, building, and guiding the team that develops intelligent automation and innovation solutions across our Global Customer Success organization.
