We are looking for a Circuit Simulation QA Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in conducting feasibility studies and functional requirement analysis for automating test routines and software programs.
• Develop test programs based on R&D-released test and verification diagnostics.
• Plan, document, and implement product testing and verification activities.
• Perform test engineering tasks to diagnose software and/or emulation hardware failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in updating and enhancing software programming based on testing results.
• Ensure the overall functional quality of released products across all required platforms and mechanisms.
• Aim to achieve a high level of quality across Siemens EDA Analog/Mixed-Signal product line.
• Participate in defining test plans and quality plans for each release in coordination with development and marketing teams.
• Create a wide range of test cases to evaluate new features using design languages such as Spice, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, VHDL-AMS, and SystemVerilog.
• Analyze customer-reported defects and automate corresponding test cases.
• Execute required tests, analyze reports, diagnose issues, report findings to development teams, and suggest possible solutions when applicable.
• Validate products against different quality attributes (FURPS), with special emphasis on performance.
• Measure test coverage and recommend improvements.
• Use products from a designer’s perspective and report issues and enhancement suggestions.
• Work closely with development teams to optimize development and validation cycle time within an Agile process.
