We are seeking a highly motivated researcher and software developer, preferably with expertise in GUI/UI development, 3D visualization techniques (rendering, rasterization), etc.

About Us


The Calibre™ family of tools is the industry leader in EDA/CAD solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, enabling simulations and diagnostics from the transistor to the package level. As the semiconductor industry continues its rapid growth, there is a critical demand for high-fidelity modeling and high-throughput numerical simulations to support the production of stable, high-volume chips at advanced technology nodes.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with industry leaders to develop groundbreaking tools that accelerate semiconductor manufacturing and device performance study at the most advanced nodes. Our solutions will deliver significant performance gains over conventional approaches, essential for supporting high-volume manufacturing (HVM) and the agile turnaround times our customer’s demand. Particularly, we need a user-friendly GUI and visualization function to better facilitate customers to adopt our solution.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following education and experience:
• Education: MS in CS/Applied Math/Statistics/Engineering (or equivalent experience).

GUI: Proficiency in one or more stacks:
C++: Qt, wxWidgets, GTK; cross‑platform desktop.
C#: Windows Forms, WPF, MAUI, Avalonia.
Java: Swing, JavaFX, SWT.
Python: Tkinter, PyQt/PySide.
JavaScript/TypeScript: Electron, Tauri, NW.js.
3D visualization: Strong knowledge of ray casting/tracing, rasterization, shading, and scene management.
Computational geometry: Surface meshes, voxel grids, BVH, spatial partitioning, meshing/decimation.
GPU usage: Experience with OpenGL/Vulkan, OpenUSD, NVIDIA OptiX/Omniverse; shader programming and pipeline tuning.
Engineering fundamentals: Data structures/algorithms, concurrency, numerical robustness, API design, version control.

• Ability to estimate software development tasks accurately and deliver on schedule.
