The position will be reporting to Head of Strategy. He or she will be acting as PMO who is responsible for driving BU cross-function growth initiatives and projects to achieve overall business goals and objectives. Such role will provide a foundation for career progression into strategic roles and project leadership. He or she can develop competencies, gain exposure, build reputation, and contribute to the success of business achievements. Such role provides potential advancement by working with general management, external consultants and BU core functions which may enhance his or her career prospects in various ways.

You'll make an impact by
  • Drive and oversee BU growth initiatives / programs / projects as central hub that managing project interdependencies, anticipate risks and maximize value from every initiative, ensure projects are delivered with efficiency, consistency and accountability without compromising on quality.
  • Establish and maintain project management standards, process and best practice, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and efficiently, ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Execute day-to-day program management as central hub that ensures project milestones are set, executed and controlled. Facilitate clear communication channels between stakeholders and project managers to ensure alignment of goals, expectations, and activities throughout the project lifecycle, includes regular updates, progress reports, and meetings with key stakeholders. Gathering feedback, addressing stakeholders concerns and managing constructive conflicts for successful delivery.
  • Continuous improving project-related governance processes and facilitate the sharing of resources, methodologies, tools and techniques with support from external consultant coaching.
  • Maintain a centralized repository where projects plan, templates, lesson learns and best practice are stored and easy access to project team and stakeholders. Provide training and development to enhance project management skills and competencies.

Your defining qualities
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related majors is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ work experience in PMO / Strategy / Relevant core business function (e.g. Operation, Product management) in an international environment is preferred.
  • Well-founded knowledge of Siemens organization, Siemens Business Conduct Guideline, Siemens Business Mandate Directory, is desirable
  • Solid knowledge and skills in general business process execution, project management. 
  • Strategic thinking, critical thinking, customer-centricity thinking and result-oriented
  • High degree of accountability and responsibility
  • High degree of communication, conflicts management and team player
  • Good at presentation skills
  • Preference in solid skills in project management and BI tools/software.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English.
