About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation:
The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid!
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Operations Transformation. This position will be remote based in the United States North American manufacturing operations with global collaboration.

By joining our team, you will play a key role in leading high-impact strategic projects across our network of 20+ factories projects - from launching new factories and forging strategic partnerships to designing sophisticated production lines and accelerating automation and process innovation. You work closely with senior management to:
- Lead global programs and take full ownership of high-impact projects from start to finish, delivering on scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Focus on measurable business impact, proactively handle risks, and uphold the highest quality standards.
- Align diverse, intercultural teams and external partners to achieve seamless execution.
- Deliver one strategic project after another, building expertise and influence across the organization.
- Gain deep business insight, expand your network, and position yourself for future leadership roles.
- Identify and drive the projects that matter most for our growth.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience leading large-scale, factory/manufacturing related projects, and experience in factory digitalization, logistics, and automation.
- 6+ years of experience in consulting or similar strategic/operational roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable plans with measurable results.
- ~35% domestically and internationally.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in operations transformation, industrial manufacturing, or factory modernization.
- Experience in building AI agents, applying machine learning models, and leveraging AI-driven analytics for operational excellence is a plus.
- Experience working in engineer-to-order (ETO) or highly customized manufacturing environments.
- International and intercultural project experience, and advanced project management skills, ideally with agile experience, e.g., SAFe.
- Exposure to manufacturing network design, production transfers, or line setup.
- Background in operations consulting or internal consulting environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise project management systems, factory planning tools, and data/reporting platforms supporting capacity planning and performance management.

The pay range for this position is $122,951 - $210,773 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
