We are looking for an eDiscovery Paralegal to join the Legal Operations Team within the Legal and Compliance Department.
In this position you will work remotely from a home office with required travel to a Siemens office as business requires.
Role Summary:
You will make an impact by driving key eDiscovery and legal operations activities that support litigation (including employment matters), investigations, and departmental efficiency. You will assist with document gathering, legal holds, collections, and review workflows; coordinate subpoena and records‑request responses; and help maintain legal technology tools and defensible processes. You’ll also contribute to improving processes, documenting workflows, and generating insights through reporting—ensuring smooth, defensible, and technology‑enabled operations across the Legal & Compliance Department. Responsibilities:
- Assist in‑house counsel with litigation support across multiple matter types—including employment matters—such as coordinating document gathering, supporting witness interviews, and assisting in drafting responses to agency inquiries or pre‑litigation demands.
- Manage subpoena and records‑request responses, including document collection, deadline tracking, coordination with internal stakeholders, and secure production.
- Manage legal holds from drafting through tracking, coordinating closely with custodians and counsel.
- Oversee electronic and paper collections by identifying key data sources and partnering with in‑house and outside counsel to ensure defensible processes.
- Support ESI filtering, culling, and transfer to review platforms, and assist with review and production workflows to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Leverage and enhance use of legal tech tools (including Exterro, M365 Purview, and OpenText eDiscovery) and assist in testing and evaluating new applications.
- Generate reports and metrics from matter management, legal hold, and other legal systems to support visibility and decision‑
- Contribute to workflow documentation, SOP development, and ongoing process improvements across legal operations.
- Collaborate with counsel, vendors, and business partners across matters, and support additional litigation, eDiscovery, and legal operations tasks as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate degree required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered, including relevant coursework or training in legal studies, information systems, or business operations, with demonstrated technical aptitude.
- 3–5 years of experience in a litigation support, eDiscovery, legal operations, or paralegal role with regular hands‑on involvement in discovery‑related work.
- Exposure to eDiscovery, litigation technology, or data‑driven legal workflows, or a demonstrated ability and strong interest in developing eDiscovery skills as a core job responsibility.
- Strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel used routinely for tracking, reporting, and data management.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future
- Proficient in English both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with eDiscovery is highly preferred
- Interest in technology and willingness to learn IT systems, legal tech tools and data workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and desire to understand how legal and technical systems work together.
- Experience with project management, organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient technical skills in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle and eDiscovery technologies (such as Microsoft Purview, Exterro and OpenText Axcelerate) is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $66,259 - $113,587 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
