About the role:

We're looking for a seasoned expert in Power Electronics simulation to join our team and play a pivotal role in leveraging the exciting synergy born from the Altair acquisition!

Your role will be to strategically drive and expand the capabilities of Simcenter PSIM (formerly Altair PSIM), our leading market simulation software for Power Electronics, across a wide array of Siemens applications and workflows.

What you’ll be doing:

In coordination with the Business Line leadership team, define an ambitious roadmap that accelerates Simcenter PSIM’s leadership and drives the future of power electronics simulation.

Define the directions for Simcenter PSIM development by bringing Power Electronics domain expertise, in liaison with the Product Development Manager

Contribute to the development of extended Power Electronics modelling and simulation capabilities in Simcenter PSIM

Define and execute a collaboration strategy between Simcenter PSIM and selected Siemens applications

Be a team leader

What you’ll bring:

Master’s degree or PhD in Power Electronics or a related technical field

Strong mathematical background in numerical solvers

Proven experience in developing Power Electronics applications, including EMI, motor drives and thermal aspects

Good understanding of system simulation and control systems

Extensive software development experience in relation to simulation software, ideally in the field of Power Electronics simulation

Good understanding of the Power Electronics simulation market and players

Strong communication skills with the ability to understand complex systems and explain technical concepts clearly
