Key Responsibilities: Product Engineer prototyping product line

·       Responsible for the introduction and deployment of our HAV FPGA products to customers across the world, with main focus in North America

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for the proFPGA product line in the HAV product engineering organization and be accountable for its success
  • Drive technical decisions for the product with respect to customers needs and strategic long term vision
  • Interfaces with highest -level customer engineers and managers to develop or enhance their usage of our products and feedback required tool change to our product management and R&D organizations
  • Uses complex design and tooling tasks involving multiple design environments. Articulate problems and solutions verbally and in writing to be able to lead to marketing requirements for roadmap planning
  • Help our field team to support customers in case of new technology deployment or advanced expertise required on specific FPGA related technical field
  • Uses advanced data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines.
  • Responsible for presentations to customer management and managing day to day customer activities while supporting the field.
  • Works without supervision on the most complex projects with latitude for independent judgment.
  • Advanced knowledge of the how a field organization works, deadline management, criteria analysis and tracking, reporting and communication

Qualifications:

  • Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • At least 15 years of professional experience in the electronics and/or semiconductor industries.
  • Expertise in EDA or similar software technology, with detailed experience in FPGA compilation/runtime/debugging
  • Strong technical background as design or verification engineer
  • Experienced in interacting with highly skilled technical contributors with ability to clearly advocate specific solutions/flows using facts and data
  • A technical leader with the ability to educate/help/guide others
  • Able to influence others through both direct and indirect networks
  • Excellent spoken and written presentation skills; ability to create high quality focused presentations; confidence in communicating at all levels and sizes of audience
  • Advanced knowledge of SystemVerilog, C/C++/SystemC, FPGA compiler flows, FPGA architecture

The pay range for this position is 154,200 - 277,600 annually with a target incentive of 10-15 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
