As the Head of the Solutions Architecture Center, you will lead a multidisciplinary technology organization focused on delivering advanced system integration expertise, ensuring robust customer IT/OT alignment, and supporting digital solutions across the region. You will guide the development of system architectures, champion cybersecurity best practices, and provide high-level technical leadership to field and sales teams. Your work enables consistent, scalable, and future-ready building system designs that drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
As the Head of Solutions Architecture Center, you will:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for customer system network architecture, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee timely resolution of escalated technical challenges and ensure high-quality outcomes across the region.
- Provide advanced technical support, mentoring, and training to field and sales teams.
- Identify skill-development needs and assign owners to support ongoing training and coaching across technical disciplines.
- Represent the regions in discussions related to customer IT/OT requirements, system capabilities, and integration strategies.
- Champion cybersecurity implementation and ensure adherence to established standards across all customer projects.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities of Zone Technology Experts and Integration/Networking teams.
- Stay current on industry advancements in system architecture, building applications, software configuration, and networking technologies.
- Facilitate recurring departmental meetings to set priorities, review performance, and plan future initiatives.
- Motivate and develop employees to achieve team, customer, and company performance goals.
- Perform key people-leadership functions including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps, sharing best practices, and driving initiatives that enhance operational performance.
- Ensure strong collaboration across engineering, sales, and project execution teams to maintain alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Manage departmental processes, tools, and standards to improve productivity, quality, and employee experience.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, computer science, or related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience managing technical teams in relevant industries.
- Experience with HVAC, fire, and security system integration.
- Experience analyzing industry trends and applying findings to planning or execution.
- Proficiency with networking technologies and switch configurations.
- Leadership, communication, and planning experience.
- Experience developing and supporting technical staff.
- Travel required: 20%
- This is a remote position, and the individual must reside in one of the following states: Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Cisco, Micro, or MCSE

The pay range for this position is 137,731 - 295,106 annually with a target incentive of 15 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
