Your role:

·       Siemens Healthineers is looking for a talented and motivated individual to serve as a Data Engineer within our Diagnostics IT, Data and Intelligence Hub team. The right candidate will work with the industry’s latest CRM, ERP and database technologies in support of a highly focused and entrepreneurial department leading change, driving growth and supporting key business services. The individual will particularly contribute to Diagnostics Business data and AI initiatives and will be a hands-on technical resource to a variety of global project initiatives. The candidate should have a solid background in key technologies with a focus on data management, data integration, system design and implementation. The ideal candidate will be inspired by technology and its use in an ever changing, fast paced environment.

·       Translating business requirements into technical concepts

·       Perform data profiling to understand data domains, Source systems, validation rules, data dependencies and lineage.

·       Collaborate with various stakeholder by translating requirements into data pipeline designs and implement those

·       Design, develop, implement, and document data transformation processes enriching raw data utilizing the Data Vault framework.

·       Build data pipelines from raw data to data products utilizing the Data Vault framework

·       Build and manage best in class data pipeline structures involving robust meta data capturing, automated testing and automated data lineage from raw data to consumption

·       Design data pipelines with data quality and data observability by design principles

·       Building robust testing frameworks and participating in code and design reviews

·       Work with deployment team to ensure high quality and agile deployments of data pipelines applying state of the art DevOps methods, such as trunk-based-development

·       Collaborate with data platform architect to continuously improve data platform and operations

Your expertise:

·       Proven knowledge (e.g. certification) on data vault framework

·       High proficiency in designing, managing, monitoring, and administrating data pipelines and data structures in Cloud based technology stack

·       Ability to translate complex problems into simple technical solutions

·       Ability to abstract data problems into re-usable components/modules

·       Lifetime willingness to learn and explore new technologies in data, analytics and AI

·       Strong orientation towards quality and results (attention to detail and standardization)

·       Practical experience working in agile environments

·       Good communication skills

·       Analytical and out of the box thinking

·       Natural drive for innovation and optimization

·       Teamwork oriented collaborative attitude in a multi-national hybrid team environment

·       Exceptional knowledge of Snowflake

·       Exceptional knowledge of DBT

·       Good understanding of Business Process and different business domain data structures

·       Experience with processing and managing large data sets (multi TB scale).

·       Mandatory experience or knowledge of Data Vault 2, ideally certified.
