Today, we are recruiting for a Signaling Testing & Commissioning Lead Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Coordinate and supervise Commissioning activities, lead and advise a team of qualified professionals and technicians and ensure adherence to processes and procedures on site.
- Lead, develop and motivate a group of dedicated qualified employees and professionals functionally to achieve the targets set.
- Ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures, for the Commissioning Team assigned.
- Coordinate Commissioning activities performed by a team of professionals and technicians and controls execution according to the organizational guidelines.
- Report testing progress/challenges to T&C manager.
- Assess installation quality of work that meets T&C expectations.
- Review & prepare accurate reports, documentation, and test records with high attention to detail.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical power engineering.
- Having hands-on experience in Interlocking railway systems & EN standards such as EN 50121.
- Minimum experience of 7-8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Can work independently, and maintain a structured and quality-driven work approach.
- Strong analytical abilities for interpreting test data and solving technical issues, experienced in coordinating complex testing schedules and collaborating with multiple stakeholders,
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working on site in international and multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
- Familiar with Siemens Interlocking products, Worked Previously in Egyptian Mainline project, Familiar with Subset 026 for ETCS L2 systems is highly advantageous.
