We are looking for a Scrum Master / Agile Project Lead.
This position is for Chennai.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Managing projects with agreed scope and timelines, ensuring expected quality and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand‑ups.
- Ensuring business success and enabling continuous improvement of customer value.
- Facilitating internal communication and fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coaching team members in Agile frameworks and guiding teams toward higher Scrum maturity.
- Ensuring the Sprint Backlog is constantly prioritized for maximum business value.
- Working closely with Product Owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
- Resolving conflicts and removing impediments that hinder team progress.
- Supporting teams in effectively implementing changes.
- Ensuring deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
- Helping build a productive environment where team members take collective ownership of the product.
- Following product roadmap directions and vision provided by partner organizations.
- Performing regular reporting to customers and management.
- Adhering to standard risk management processes.
- Elaborating user stories for implementation and aligning with Product Owners/Product Managers across teams.
- Understanding stakeholder and customer requirements and expectations.
- Participating in team planning meetings and providing guidance throughout sprint execution.
- Demonstrating completed functionality to internal stakeholders at the end of each sprint.
- Ensuring compliance with customer processes and organizational practices.
- Collaborating effectively across multiple Scrum teams.
You’ll win us over by:
- A BE/B.Tech/MCA/ME/M.Tech degree with 8–10 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years as a Scrum Master.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate.
- Knowledge of Lean, Agile, and SAFe project management practices.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management processes.
- Functional understanding of standard project lifecycle management tools such as Jazz.
- Experience working with multi‑site global teams.
- Familiarity with estimation techniques, risk analysis, data interpretation, and root‑cause analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive into technical details when needed.
- Knowledge of requirement engineering and management (collection, analysis, documentation, tracing).
- Knowledge of cloud concepts (added advantage).
- Understanding of native iOS/Android applications, hybrid applications, and web applications (nice to have).
- A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
