Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with MBA and 12–15 years of relevant experience in operational procurement, Supply chain logistics, Demand Planning, production scheduling and Warehouse Operations in manufacturing industries.
• Experience in planning, and purchase of raw materials required for manufacturing low voltage switchgear both domestic and import suppliers.
Inventory Management – Target Vs actuals and improvement actions to improve ITR, Slow and Nonmoving analysis and actions.
• Advanced Excel skills and Power BI – For data analysis, dashboards, and reporting.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes – Understanding of end-to-end demand, supply, and order management flow.
•Is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, picking, dispatch, and inventory management of materials. This role ensures that warehouse processes run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with company standards and internal customer requirements.
• Data interpretation and reporting – Ability to convert data insights into actionable plans.
• As a Production planning and control professional, you will perform the planning and scheduling of low voltage switchgears efficient operations and timely delivery of products
• Manage a team of 6 – 8 people in operational procurement, Production scheduling and Warehouse. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of low voltage products – MCB, RCCB, HRC fuses and accessories, manufacturing processes, inventory management, and logistics.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for both domestic and international sources.
• Strong understanding of forecasting techniques, demand analysis, and supply planning.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PP/MM (implementation experience is an advantage).
• High focus on data accuracy and logical decision-making.
• Proactive team player who can take initiative and support in colleagues’ absence.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Handle procurement all commodities like press parts, plastic molded parts, Non tooled up parts, Packaging materials with a focus on cost and freight optimization for Low Voltage Switchgear.
• Oversee inventory planning and management in alignment with dynamic product requirements.
• Establish and maintain safety stock levels for critical components related to delivery and quality.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives across procurement activities.
• Maintain strong and effective relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal business outcomes.
• Actively contribute to and drive departmental KPIs and strategic initiatives, including material           management, cost optimization, freight control, inventory planning, and localization efforts.
• Willingness to travel and conduct supplier visits as required by the business.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential.
• Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
• Oversee the production process, monitoring progress against schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with various departments, including logistics, procurement, production, and quality control, to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Track production quantities, analyze data, and report KPIs. 
• Support inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.
• Experience in handling sub-contracting processes. 
• Maintain accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking in warehouse.
• Oversee regular cycle counts and full physical inventory checks. 
• Implement inventory control systems (FIFO/FEFO). 
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
•Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
•Interactions with overseas customers understanding the needs and expectations in a defined frequency. 
 

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with MBA is preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems. (SAP preferred).
• Experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Kanban, or similar systems.
