Executive Engineer – Quality  

Your Role – Executive Engineer Quality 

You will be part of the Product quality team, Aurangabad , responsible for conducting in-process, pre-dispatch, and packing inspections for bus duct manufacturing. Your role ensures product compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. 

Your Responsibilities: 

• Conduct in-process inspection of bus duct components and assemblies as per approved drawings, BOM, SOPs, and quality plans. 

• Verify mechanical and electrical CTQ parameters including dimensions, alignment and torque checks. 

• Execute Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) as per customer specifications, drawings, and internal quality checklists. 

• Check completeness of assemblies, accessories, and documentation against Sales Order/Dispatch Order, Ensure proper marking, labeling, traceability.  

• Perform packaging inspection including verification of packaging material, export packaging standards, protection measures, labeling, and packing list validation. 

• Identify nonconformities, raise NCRs, assist in RCA and corrective/preventive actions. 

• Ensure adherence to QMS, EHS guidelines, and support continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and 5S. 

• Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, PDI reports, NCR logs. 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 7–8 years of relevant experience, OR 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience. 

• Experience in quality inspection in bus duct, LV/MV switchgear, or precision electrical manufacturing. 

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings, GD&T, and quality control tools. 

• Hands-on experience with inspection instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Torque Wrench, etc.). 

• Knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001), electrical safety, and documentation practices. 

• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
