The Proposal and Technical Promotion Manager leads the development of customer proposals, ensuring optimized solutions that meet customer’s needs and aligned with business objectives. This position acts as the central interface between Sales, Commercial, Execution and other stakeholders throughout the bid process. This position will also play an instrumental role in promoting Siemens Electrification & Automation (EA) portfolio to open new markets.

You can make a difference in...

  • Drive the bid process for Siemens Electrification & Automation (EA) portfolio (e.g. Medium Voltage Switchgear, Low Voltage Switchgear)
  • Analyse RFI / RFQ requirements. Develop best-fit proposals. Devise bid strategy and optimize hit rate
  • Coordinate and manage input from multiple internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Commercial, Execution, Service) in the proposal development process
  • Lead technical clarifications, identify and assess technical risks
  • Perform post-bid analysis. Apply experiences gained to future bids
  • Promote Siemens EA portfolio to existing and potential customers. Collaborate with Sales to open new markets

Your Defining Qualities...

  • At least 5 - 10 years of experience in bid management
  • Experienced in Power Distribution sector
  • Technical proficiency in Medium Voltage switchgears, Low Voltage switchgears, busduct, and protection relays
  • Experience with pricing models, margin calculations and risk assessment
  • Able to translate customer requirements into winning technical and commercial offers
  • Confident with customers
  • Able to present Siemens EA portfolio to external stakeholders in the market
  • Proactive, responsible, team player, and can orchestrate inputs from multiple stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Legal, Engineering) simultaneously while meeting tight tender deadlines
