Then come and join our global team as IT System Engineer (f/m/d) Remote Support, working in English and Spanish or German, and support our customers across EMEA with high-quality, international remote IT support for clinical imaging software, ensuring smooth and reliable clinical operations.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


This role is available in Romania, Poland, Portugal, Germany (Erlangen), and France (Paris)


This position is limited to a fixed term of two years and is available on a full-time or part-time basis with a minimum of 30h/week.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You provide international remote IT support for the clinical imaging software of several Siemens Healthineers departments to provide a fast and high-quality support for the customer.
  • You coordinate and organize activities (incl. updates and upgrades) with internal and external partners, in order to ensure clinical operation for our customers.
  • You act as an advisor and help with the integration and interface design of IT systems.
  • You share know how with new team members and hereby build up their competencies.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Medicine, with a strong affinity for IT.
  • You have gained initial experience in customer IT support, ideally in the context of imaging systems as well as clinical software and workflows.
  • We also welcome applications from candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or a completed vocational training and further education, combined with additional relevant professional experience. In this context, you have several years of hands-on experience working as an IT specialist.
  • In addition, you have knowledge of virtualized IT systems, scripting, and server hardware.
  • You have initial experience in implementing interfaces for third-party applications, preferably in a clinical environment.
  • You are familiar with the software syngo.via or are willing to familiarize yourself with this topic.


Your attributes and skills:

  • You have a structured approach to our customers' problem cases and are able to keep track of several support requests and set the corresponding priorities; at the same time, you always have customer satisfaction and the quality of your technical solution in mind
  • With your business fluency in English you support customers all over EMEA in direct telephone contact, can document problems, easily communicate internally with your colleagues and understand the trainings, most of which are held in English. Ideally, you have already gained experience in intercultural cooperation
  • Additionally, you speak Spanish or German fluently. In this language you will be able to serve customers of that native language in same high quality as you will do in English
  • With your strong communication skills, you integrate effortlessly into our international team
  • We are available for our customers in EMEA from 7 am to 6 pm CET.  Your working hours are mostly flexible; nevertheless, one week early or late shift every three weeks is required; twice a year you will be available for a weekend service.
