YOUR ROLE – CHALLENGING AND FUTURE-ORIENTED

Reporting to the Head of Communications, India, and based in Gurugram, Haryana, you will support external and internal communications programs for Siemens Energy India. You will collaborate closely with PR agencies, internal stakeholders, and global communications teams to strengthen our brand reputation, amplify our leadership in energy transition, and drive meaningful employee engagement.

You will manage PR, media relations, employer branding content, internal communications, and social media channels to position Siemens Energy as a partner of choice for customers, employees, and stakeholders.

HOW YOU CREATE IMPACT:

You will contribute to building a strong, consistent narrative for Siemens Energy India by supporting communication strategies across external and internal audiences. You will focus on content excellence, proactive storytelling, brand building, and timely execution.

External Communications & PR

  • Support the execution of PR strategy in alignment with regional and global communication priorities.
  • Coordinate with PR agencies on media outreach, pitches, press releases, and thought leadership content.
  • Assist in preparing spokespersons with briefing documents, Q&As, and talk points.
  • Track media coverage, prepare monthly PR dashboards, and ensure consistent message pull-through.
  • Help manage the Siemens Energy India newsroom and maintain updated media materials (boilerplate, leadership bios, fact sheets, etc.).

Media Relations

  • Build and maintain working relationships with mainline, trade, and energy sector journalists.
  • Identify proactive story opportunities aligned with innovation, sustainability, and energy transition themes.
  • Monitor industry news cycles and highlight strategic PR opportunities.

Employer Branding

  • Support the creation of compelling employer brand content for LinkedIn, website, internal channels, and employee branding campaigns.
  • Partner with P&O/HR to amplify our employee value proposition through employee stories, culture narratives, event coverage, and milestone communication.
  • Assist with award submissions, rankings, and key employer branding initiatives.

Internal Communications

  • Draft internal newsletters, leadership messages, event scripts, and intranet content to strengthen employee engagement.
  • Support communication roll-outs for key business updates, leadership changes, and cultural initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and consistency across communication materials.

Social Media & Digital Communications

  • Create content for LinkedIn and Viva Engage.
  • Develop engaging social media posts, visual assets, and short-form content.
  • Monitor engagement and analytics and contribute to monthly social media performance reports.

Events and Campaigns

  • Support end-to-end project management for communication campaigns, ensuring timely planning, coordination, execution, and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of trade shows, product launches, internal events, and town halls by coordinating content, logistics, stakeholder alignment, and postevent communication.
  • Assist in creating event materials such as presentations, talking points, FAQs, and onground communication assets to enable seamless engagement and brand consistency.

Brand, Governance & Processes

  • Ensure all communication materials adhere to Siemens Energy brand guidelines, tone of voice, and approval workflows.
  • Support crisis preparedness by maintaining communication protocols and templates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of content quality, processes, and internal workflows.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in corporate communications within a B2B environment.
  • on exposure to PR, media relations, employer branding, internal communications, and social media management.
  • Experience in coordinating with PR agencies and managing content calendars, deliverables, and reporting.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and editing abilities with demonstrated experience in crafting press releases, bylines, and leadership messages.
  • Ability to work within a matrix environment, collaborate across functions, and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Basic familiarity with measurement tools and social media analytics.
  • Willingness to travel regionally to support the needs of the business.
  • Versatile interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own time effectively to achieve targets, particularly in a multi stakeholder environment.
