The Partner Engagement Manager for Digital Industries (DI) Automation is a pivotal leader responsible for cultivating and expanding highly strategic, mutually profitable business relationships with our industrial channel partners. This role is instrumental in driving the successful execution of Digital Industries (DI) Automation's overarching business objectives and market penetration strategies. As a proactive individual contributor, the Partner Engagement Manager will strategically collaborate with industrial channel partners to co-create and implement robust territory and business development plans, ensuring alignment with DI's growth ambitions and achieving ambitious sales targets. This role is a core member of the Partner Sales organization within Digital Industries Sales, reporting to the Head of Partner Engagement.

We are looking for Partner Engagement Manager. This position will be remote but must be located in the eastern timezone.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Strategically cultivating and nurturing deep, trust-based relationships with partner executives and key personnel, establishing unparalleled credibility as a "trusted business advisor." You will serve as the primary interface for articulating Siemens' vision, proactively influencing strategic decisions, co-creating innovative solutions, and expertly guiding partners through complex challenges to foster enduring, high-value partnerships and ensure long-term alignment with Digital Industries' growth objectives.
  • Purposefully developing and executing comprehensive, profitable partner success plansthat are meticulously aligned with territory objectives and Digital Industries' overarching growth strategy, consistently achieving and exceeding ambitious goals.
  • Proactively analyzing key partner KPIs and performance metrics, providing incisive, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to drive necessary changes, optimize performance, and ensure partners meet their strategic objectives.
  • Conducting continuous, in-depth benchmarking of partner capabilities against evolving market demands and untapped potential to identify and capitalize on significant solution expansion opportunities and address critical territory gaps.
  • Collaborating strategically with Partner Marketing Executive to secure optimal funding and resources, including efficient utilization of Market Development Fund programs, to execute high-impact partner marketing initiatives.
  • Championing and integrating advanced digital marketing initiatives and campaign execution activities to amplify partner reach and drive demand generation.
  • Leading the development and deployment of comprehensive partner enablement strategies, leveraging cross-functional teams to strengthen partner capabilities, foster specializations, and significantly enhance sales productivity across all functional roles through targeted training and support.
  • Providing expert coaching and strategic guidance to partner personnel to optimize sales cycles, increase win rates, and ensure the successful delivery of exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Forging deep collaborative relationships with partner leadership and Siemens Partner Sales Executives to strategically target and win new logos, as well as significantly expand existing account presence.
  • Ensuring rigorous partner compliance with all Siemens processes and standards, actively guiding partners to integrate Siemens best practices seamlessly within their organizational frameworks.
  • Proactively identifying and facilitating opportunities for partner-to-partner collaboration to create compelling joint-value propositions and significantly increase the potential for successful joint-opportunity wins.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates a strong foundation for understanding complex industrial automation landscapes.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience within the Industrial Automation market, with a proven track record in strategic sales, impactful business development, or advanced channel management. This experience should highlight your ability to drive significant growth and foster strong partner ecosystems.
  • Deep and applied technical knowledge of Industrial Automation Hardware and Software, coupled with a profound understanding of how these solutions address complex end-customer challenges and contribute to their strategic growth objectives.
  • Ability to develop and lead strategic executive level business meetings including expert level presentation skills
  • Comprehensive expertise in Digital Industries markets and solutions, including emerging trends and their strategic implications for channel partners and end-users.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and active listening communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex information, present compelling analyses, and deliver strategic recommendations effectively to all levels of stakeholders, including executive leadership and external partners.
  • A willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, as this role requires significant engagement with partners and strategic market presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated mastery in strategic sales planning, comprehensive customer development, impactful marketing communications, and clear technical communication. This includes the ability to craft and articulate compelling value propositions that resonate across diverse audiences.
  • A proven and exemplary track record of effectively navigating and thriving within highly matrixed organizational structures. This encompasses understanding complex cultural dynamics, leveraging internal processes, and building consensus across diverse teams – all critical for the success and influence of this position.
  • Proven experience in building executive level (Owner, C-level, President level) relationships with prior partners and/or customers
  • Ability to develop and lead strategic executive level business meetings including expert level presentation skills

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 42% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
