System Integration and Verification for Train Protection Systems
Your Responsibilities
As a system integrator for Train Protection Systems within the development team, you will:
- Integrate diverse software components on different target hardware platforms as part of the control guide RBC Workstation development team (workstation for ETCS control centers).
- Define and clarify technical requirements and interfaces for a complex system, ensuring smooth integration.
- Create, adapt, and maintain comprehensive integration and test setups for technical validation.
- Specify, review, and implement test cases; analyze and evaluate complex test results to demonstrate compliance with technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely within the development team and coordinate with interested parties involved in system and software development.
- Support and oversee assessments and contribute to overarching processes connected to complex products and user projects.
What We Require From You
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- A degree in Information Technology (Bachelor’s level or equivalent).
- Several years of professional experience in system integration and testing of complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with agile software development methods and practices.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and processes, including CENELEC, EN50128, and EN50129.
- Basic understanding of railway signaling technology and experience in supervising technical teams (preferred).
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, WinCC OA, and ETCS (preferred qualifications).
- Fluent English language skills to collaborate effectively with international teams.
