Product Manager, Low Voltage Power Circuit Breakers

We are looking for a Product Manager – Low Voltage Power Circuit Breakers. This position will be based in Peachtree Corners GA.
This role owns the post‑launch lifecycle of Low Voltage Power Circuit Breakers (3WA/WL) built to UL 1066 and UL 489 standards and related accessories. You will lead sustaining activities focused on quality, cost, compliance, supply continuity, and portfolio optimization while partnering across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales. This position plays a key role in protecting revenue, margin, and brand trust across an installed‑base product portfolio.
You’ll make a difference with:
After-Launch Product Leadership (Sustaining Excellence):
- Translate field issues into structured problem statements, then lead cross-functional teams through containment → root cause → corrective action → prevention.
- Work with or develop & maintain product dashboards (quality, lead time, cost, sales, returns/warranty) and turn insights into action.
Lifecycle Management from Maturity to Obsolescence:
- Build and execute transition strategies that minimize customer disruption and protect margin.
- Lead variant rationalization and portfolio simplification: retire low-value SKUs, reduce complexity, improve manufacturability, and stabilize delivery.
- Coordinate last-time-buys, substitute qualification, and documentation updates.
Commercial Ownership (P&L mindset):
- Manage List pricing and value positioning for the sustaining portfolio; partner with sales/marketing and business developers to defend margin against competitive pressure.
- Build/support business cases for sustaining investments (cost-out, dual sourcing, tooling refresh, component redesign).
- Work directly with R&D and procurement to push for material cost productivity (MCP), VAM & PPC to improve margins.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Drive alignment with R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales using prioritization, clear metrics, and executive-ready communication.
- Run product review cadences and decision forums ensuring stakeholders leave with owners, dates, and deliverables.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in professional work
- 7+ years of excellent communication skills-verbal / non-verbal and technical / non-technical.
- 5+ years of product management, marketing, sales, logistics or R&D experience preferably with electrical or electromechanical products
- 5+ years on strong data analysis, problem solving, report writing, and presentation skills.
- 5+ years of experience in ability to multitask and manage product management activities per schedule.
- 3+ years of proven experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) or general project management.
- 3+ years of strong technical aptitude - ability to interpret and author technical product specifications.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (~20%).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and protection products, including but not limited to Power Circuit Breakers and Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs).
- Strategic & Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to analyze product profitability and make data-driven decisions that align with long-term portfolio strategy.
- Agile & Analytical Proficiency: Experience working in Agile environments with proficiency in data analytics tools such as KNIME, Tableau, or similar platforms to support market analysis.
- Leadership & Program Management: Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives or teams, with familiarity in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- Global Operations Insight: Understanding of international supply chains, sales and operations planning (S&OP), third-party manufacturing, and brand label management.

The pay range for this position is 91,463 - 156,794 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
