We're seeking an exceptional leader who can orchestrate our service ecosystem with vision and precision. As Head of IT Service Excellence and Orchestration for Global Cloud  and Hosting services, you'll oversee our comprehensive portfolio of global managed services—from traditional data centers to cutting-edge cloud platforms and emerging edge computing solutions. You'll balance technical excellence with business acumen, ensuring our services deliver maximum value while maintaining the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance.  


This role sits at the intersection of technology strategy and operational excellence, requiring someone who can navigate complex multi-vendor relationships, drive innovation across hybrid environments, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional service experiences. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders across Siemens to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IT service strategies that power our organization's success.

You’ll make an impact by

You'll develop and execute multi-sourcing strategies across hybrid environments, integrate cutting-edge hyperscaler solutions, and elevate operational excellence across our service ecosystem. Your leadership will directly influence how Siemens businesses access and leverage critical IT hosting capabilities worldwide, ultimately enabling faster innovation, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced competitive advantage.  

  • Own and continuously evolve the global IT service portfolio, covering data center, hybrid and public cloud environments, edge and IoT platform services, as well as Security, Identity & Protection  
  • Define and implement a unified service ownership and orchestration model across internal delivery units and strategic service partners  
  • Drive Siemens’ multi-cloud and edge strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready hosting platforms  
  • Establish and scale FinOps practices to increase transparency, optimize cloud spend, and enable value-driven consumption models  
  • Lead and further develop a globally distributed organization, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence  
  • Simplify and optimize the multi-vendor ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration of in-house and partner-delivered services (e.g. Azure, AWS)  
  • Continuously improve service quality, reliability, and customer experience using data-driven insights and modern operational frameworks  
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior business and IT leadership, translating enterprise priorities into impactful, scalable service capabilities 

You excel in 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.  
  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams in complex IT service environments  
  • 10 years of leadership experience in high-tech or engineering companies, managing large, globally distributed teams 
  • Deep expertise in hybrid IT service management, including data centers, cloud, and edge computing  
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to align technology roadmaps with business objectives  
  • Successful track record implementing multi-cloud strategies and hyperscaler integrations  
  • Experience managing both in-house and partner service delivery models  
  • Strong understanding of operational excellence frameworks and continuous service improvement  
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels  
  • Experience with agile methodologies and fostering innovation-driven cultures  
  • Resilient, hands-on leadership approach in dynamic environments  
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional languages beneficial
