Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You lead and orchestrate complex strategic initiatives across the global Real Estate portfolio, ensuring clear alignment with other stakeholders and disciplined execution.
- You structure, steer, and challenge multi-dimensional projects by defining objectives, responsibilities, milestones, and deliverables - whilst actively managing timelines, dependencies, and decision paths.
- You provide analytical support through portfolio evaluations, scenario analyses, and business case assessments to enable fact based strategic and investment decisions.
- You prepare and manage executive level communication, including high quality presentations, decision papers, and status updates for the Global Head of Portfolio Management, Strategy and Sustainability – Real Estate and senior management, translating complex topics into concise, decision oriented messages.
- You define, track, and continuously refine relevant KPIs in close collaboration with key functions (e.g. Finance), ensuring standardized, transparent, and decision relevant reporting across the portfolio.
- You own and drive due diligence processes for Real Estate initiatives including the coordination of cross functional inputs (e.g. Finance, Legal, Tax, HSE), critical analysis of assumptions, and translation of findings into clear recommendations.
- You act as a central integrator across functions and business units, facilitating effective collaboration, ensuring smooth information flow, and driving coordinated execution across regions and stakeholders.
- You proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and interdependencies, challenge suboptimal approaches, and actively support issue resolution to safeguard project outcomes.
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have completed a degree in business, real estate management, or a related field, ideally with a focus on strategic disciplines such as strategy, finance, or organizational design.
- You have many years of professional experience in Real Estate and project management, preferably gained in multinational environments.
- You already have extensive, long-term professional experience and additional qualifications in this field, but no university degree? We would still be very happy to receive your application.
- You have a proven track record of independently leading cross‑functional initiatives end‑to‑end (from initiation to completion) and providing functional/project leadership to interdisciplinary teams.
- You have experience ensuring adherence to budgets and preparing business cases to support strategic and operational decisions.
- You have a solid exposure to compliance and governance related topics in an international context.
Your attributes and skills:
- You collaborate confidently in an international matrix, build strong stakeholder relationships, and communicate fluently in English and German.
- You are strong in executive communication and can translate complex topics into senior ready decision papers and presentations.
- You demonstrate outstanding organizational skills and a structured, detail oriented approach to managing complex tasks and priorities.
