C&B Professional
This role is responsible for driving Compensation & Benefits (C&B) initiatives and supporting the implementation of C&B topics aligned with business priorities, talent strategy, and governance requirements. The incumbent will work closely with the Head of Compensation & Benefits, SEIL, to execute compensation programs, deliver analytics-driven insights, and ensure operational excellence across C&B processes.
The role is based in Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compensation Strategy Execution:
- Support the design and implementation of compensation programs aligned with business needs and budget guidelines.
- Translate reward philosophy into actionable frameworks including increments, pay positioning etc.
- Drive end-to-end execution of compensation cycles (merit increases, performance pay).
2. Salary Benchmarking & Market Intelligence:
- Conduct market benchmarking using survey data and external insights to ensure competitiveness.
- Analyze compensation trends and provide recommendations backed by data and insights.
- Maintain and update compensation databases with high accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Incentive Program Management:
- Support design, modeling, and rollout of variable pay and incentive programs.
- Simulate models in Excel to simulate scenarios, payouts, and business impact.
- Ensure accurate payout calculations.
4. Benefits Administration:
- Assist in administration and optimization of employee benefits programs, ensuring efficiency and employee relevance.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for seamless benefits delivery.
5. Governance, Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure adherence to compensation governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, documentation, and internal controls related to compensation and benefits.
6. Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Partner with Business Partners, finance, and business stakeholders to implement C&B initiatives effectively.
- Develop clear and structured communication for employees on compensation programs.
- Address queries and provide data-backed guidance to stakeholders.
7. Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Leverage Excel and other analytical tools such as PowerBI to analyze compensation data, generate reports, and derive insights.
- Develop dashboards and reports on compensation trends.
8. Project Management:
- Drive and support key C&B projects end-to-end such as job architecture, policy redesign, and process improvements.
- Ensure timely delivery with strong attention to detail, risk identification, and stakeholder alignment.
Education & Experience:
- Postgraduate qualification in Management or related field from a reputed institute.
- 4–7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards.
- Strong understanding of compensation frameworks, benefits programs, and benchmarking practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of Power point.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across levels.
- Experience working in matrix and/or international organizations is preferred.
