Regional Manager (South), Grid Technology Sales

Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology business is a large and growing business area with approx. INR 2,500 Crores (EUR 300 Mio) of Revenue. It encompasses the full value chain, from Turnkey Solutions, Systems, Products and Services for Utility and Industrial customers across Indian sub-continent.

We are looking forward to having on board “Regional Manager (South)” to join our Sales team based in Chennai (Preferred) or alternatively Bengaluru or Hyderabad, India.

This is a phenomenal opportunity for an individual to experience a challenging but exciting role in a collaborative and dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who possesses a ‘can-do’ attitude, can lead a team, motivated to win and who holds themselves to a high standard.

Relationship building and collaboration capabilities are important for the role. Furthermore, market and customer focus are central, and you are expected to understand the customers, competition, technology, and changes in the marketplace and convert this knowledge into winnable propositions. Frequent travel is integral part of the role.

How you make an impact

·       Promote our technology and demonstrate our value proposition of delivering reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy solutions.

·       Develop and complete go-to-market strategy plans for your region & customers in collaboration with the execution units for profitable growth, market share and strategic customer engagements.

·       Accomplish business targets – profitable orders growth, market share, customer satisfaction.

·       Promote an agile work culture while also fostering a Digital Mindset, develop and implement a Digital sale strategy.

·       Provide functional leadership, guidance, and active support to the Sales teams for their growth and development.

·       Ensure Collection of due and overdue payments together with the Finance Head

·       Actively contribute to the continuous development of the processes, tools, and products.

What you bring

·       You have an Engineering Degree. Additional management qualifications are desirable.

·       You have >15 years prior experience in sales or business development. Experience in Grid technology business is preferred.

·       You are a relationship builder with excellent communication and presentation skills.

·       You have a business mindset and strong negotiation skills.

·       You have a natural flavor for leading and growing teams.
