Role Headline

Drive revenue growth and market share for the portfolio in scope and maximize customer value by leveraging technical and sales expertise to identify opportunities and drive successful outcomes with focus in measuring instruments at Siemens.

Responsibilities of the Role
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth for the portfolio in scope and maximize customer value by leveraging technical and sales expertise to identify opportunities and drive successful outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders from Sales and the business teams to ensure unified efforts in achieving sales targets, keep relevant stakeholders informed about portfolio pipeline.
  • Provide feedback to relevant portfolio teams (e.g. Domain Management, BU teams) based on market requirements and customer insights.
  • Trusted Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them in portfolio selection, fit, and implementation to meet their specific needs and objectives.
  • Technical & Commercial: Integrate technical and commercial perspectives to position the portfolio effectively, ensuring it meets customer requirements and adds value.
  • Deal Closure: Play a key role in advancing deal closure by providing critical insights and support throughout the sales process.
  • Develops, designs and completes customer proposals in technical aspects (Proposal Engineer).
  • Performs site surveys to develop base design or installation plans.
  • Analyses customers' technical setup to better judge on aspects of product and solution integration.
  • Completes technical analyses and supports proposal process at any stage as part of the sales team.
  • Willingness to travel both locally and Internationally
Qualifications and Experience
  • National Diploma: Control and Instrumentation
  • Instrumentation Trade Test (Essential) , (Blue Seal) Trade Certification is advantageous
  • 5-8 Years Process Instrumentation Plant Experience with Knowledge of specific industry verticals (e.g., Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Oil & Gas).
  • In-depth knowledge of measuring instrumentation portfolio (e.g., flow, level, pressure, temperature, weighing, analytics (liquid and gas), valve positioner).
  • Knowledge of process industries experience in dealing with Industrial customers.
  • Ability to build relationships and promote Siemens Product Portfolio.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Effective Communication and presentation skills, Fluent in English, Oral and Written.
  • Valid drivers licence Code (B), Code C1 license is advantageous.
