For our Production organization, we are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and team-oriented part time working student. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year. This function has been established to support & develop process improvement initiatives aiming at achieving lean and efficient organizational processes which will lead a competitive advantage to Siemens Switchgear Community.
 
What are my responsibilities?
 
  • Perform and observe manufacturing operations for analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate waste.
  • Support in administrative tasks such as data entry and collection.
  • Monitoring daily production targets
 
What do I need to qualify for this job?
 
  • 3rd-4th year university student in Mechatronics / Industrial / Mechanical / Manufacturing or similar Engineering.
  • Able to work minimum 3 days/week in Gebze office.
  • LEAN manufacturing knowledge & experience 
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic and results-oriented setting.
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and accomplish tasks on a timely manner
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Autocad, Technical Drawings
 
Preferred additional qualifications: 
 
  • Willigness to take an active role in automation projects
  • Basic knowledge of image processing and/or deep learning-artificial intelligence,
  • Wiligness to learn Robot programming and want to improve themselves in this field.
  • Basic knowledge of Python, SQL and R programming languages.
