At Siemens Foundational Technologies R&D Center, we develop technologies for industrial automation in close collaboration with specialized teams across software, hardware, mechanics, and testing. Our work supports the next generation of Industry 4.0 solutions.

We are looking for a part-time team member to support testers and the development of test automation for the next generation of the SIMATIC ET 200 product family. You will work with modern test infrastructure, CI/CD practices, and AI tools in VS Code with GitHub Copilot.

 

Your task will be: 
  • Support testers and developers in creating automated tests
  • Help develop and maintain test infrastructure and test setups
  • Collaborate on CI/CD processes
  • Analyze test results
  • Contribute to improving test processes and documentation
  • Use AI tools in VS Code with GitHub Copilot in day-to-day wor
  • Share knowledge and contribute to team best practices
 
What we will appreciate from you: 
  • Interest in technology

Who we are looking for: 
  • A student or junior candidate interested in testing, automation, or development
  • Programming experience (e.g., C, C++, C#, Python, or similar languages)
  • A person willing to learn and work in a technical team
  • Someone with analytical thinking and an interest in solving technical problems
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, or industrial automation is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the MS 365 environment is an advantage
  • Good command of English is an advantage
