Full-Time Software Engineer

Position Summary
Siemens is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement innovative software solutions that support both internal and external products. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable software while consistently exceeding customer expectations through on-time delivery and technical excellence. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving capabilities, a deep understanding of complex systems, and the ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple product areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications and products in alignment with business and customer requirements.
  • Ensure the overall functional quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability of software products across all supported platforms and environments.
  • Analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective, scalable solutions to address product and customer needs.
  • Create, document, review, and execute software designs, including solutions involving complex workflows, integrations, and cross-functional product interactions.
  • Lead technical projects and provide guidance on software architecture, design decisions, and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and other engineering disciplines, to achieve project objectives.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on software quality, development efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex product issues.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience in software design, development, and implementation within a professional engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex products, systems, and technical challenges.
  • Experience leading technical projects and influencing technical direction within a team.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision while exercising sound judgment on complex assignments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.

The pay range for this position is 90000 - 162000 annually with a target incentive of 3-5 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
