Global Category Head IT Procurement (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities
- Define the IT sourcing strategy and processes, including global responsibility throughout the Siemens Procurement network with a purchasing volume of approximately €3 billion, in alignment with our IT organizations.
- Lead, inspire and empower a team of seven team leaders and their respective organizations, comprising around 45 employees.
- Take ownership of the global IT procurement community and various central initiatives.
- Act as a role model and proactively lead the transformation of the organization and workforce.
- Ensure compliance with standards and guidelines within your area of responsibility.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive their successful implementation.
- Strengthen and shape the Siemens-wide Procurement community.
- Deliver targeted results with full responsibility for purchasing volume, cost center, headcount and other key performance indicators.
- As a member of the Pooled Indirect Management Team (Co-Ownership), contribute to the overall PI strategy and development.
- Drive AI-related transformation initiatives and contribute to the overall AI strategy within Pooled Indirect.
What you need to make real what matters.
- 10 years of Supply Chain Management / Procurement experience, ideally within indirect material and IT procurement, with a proven track record of setting new standards for procurement related processes.
- Extensive global leadership experience, including managing managers and international teams in a dynamic, multidimensional environment.
- Strong networking and team member management skills with the ability to build sustainable partnerships across functions, businesses and regions.
- Proven experience in developing and driving strategy, innovation and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional, international and cross-business collaboration.
- Expertise in transformation, benchmarking and strategy projects.
- A university degree or equivalent experience in a technical, business, economics or related field.
- Business fluency in English and a very good command of German.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
