The Site Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising all on-site activities related to railway signaling projects, ensuring that works are executed in accordance with contractual requirements, railway safety standards, project schedules, and approved budgets. The role involves managing construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all site execution activities for the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of railway signaling systems.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly site operations in line with project schedules and milestones.
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors, construction teams, installation crews, and testing personnel to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations, railway safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Oversee the allocation and utilization of site resources, including personnel, equipment, materials, and logistics.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with clients, consultants, railway authorities, and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Support project management in achieving project objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Railway Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation and Control Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in railway infrastructure projects, preferably within railway signaling and traffic control systems.
  • Proven experience in managing on-site construction and installation activities, including subcontractor coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of railway signaling systems, standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a complex project environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project planning, progress monitoring, and reporting.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
