Job Overview:

System Engineer will be responsible for engineering, Design of Secondary Engineering of Protection system (Numerical Relays, Control and Relay Panels) and Substation Automation Systems, PPC and Loadshedding schemes used across various voltage levels in India for variety of customers that include Central/State/Private Utilities, Renewables and Process Bus stations.

The incumbent will be responsible for the project lifecycle that include the various project phases like Understanding the client requirement, Preparation of detail design/documentation/calculations, Approval of design/documentations from customer, preparation of loading documents for ordering of required material and support to Project Management/ Factory/ Commissioning team for successful execution of the Project.

 Job Description

• Preparation of Protection SLD’s, Trip matrix, interlocking logics, GA drawings, Bill of material etc. as per customer / project specification / requirements.

• Design of Control & Protection Panels for all voltage levels system, should have knowledge of various bus arrangements.

• Control and protection schematic preparation for various power system equipment i.e. Generator, Line, Transformer, Reactor, Busbar etc. and Knowledge about Numerical Relays and working of it like Siemens, Hitachi, GE and it's software etc.

• Preparation of FAT/SAT/GTP/TTR/FDS/HEAT LOAD documents.

• Preparation of various types of SAS & Process Bus System Architecture based on system requirements. (Star / RSTP / PRP / Ring topology), Knowledge about ethernet switches, NextGEN firewalls, RedBox and its working

• Knowledge on different serial and ethernet based protocol used in Substation Automation System (IEC 61850 / IEC 104 / IEC 101/ Modbus Serial & TCP IP, SNTP, PTP).

• Should have knowledge on Master Slave and client server philosophy, IEC61850 protocol and Computer networking. (Knowledge about Sicam SCC, WinCC, RTC A8000, S8000 or Microscada and it's software)

Different solutions of substation automation system to get desired output.

• Discussion with customer for drawing approval/resolution of query.

• Initiating loadings to factory for material procurement, fabrication and wiring of the systems under scope.

• Support to Sales/testing/commissioning team for the queries raised during execution.

Eligibility criteria / Skill Sets

• B. Tech / B.E in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience.

• Hands-on Experience in Digsi-5, Digsi-4, Reyrolle, Ethernet Switches, PMU will be preferred.

• Knowledge of siemens configuration tools: SIMATIC WINCC/SCC, Toolbox, Device Manager, DIGSI.

• Has good interpersonal and clear communication skill without, Critical Thinking

• Fast learner and able to work independently or as a team player.

• Able to work under minimum or less supervision.

• Shall have good knowledge of Windows, Servers, MS Office etc.

• E Base, Auto-CAD software knowledge will be added advantage.

• 5 days work week, Hybrid (based on Business Needs).
