We are looking for: Test Manager

You’ll make an impact by:

• Define and drive the Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy, quality objectives, and testing governance across the Protection Portfolio.
• Lead test planning, estimation, resource allocation, and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure alignment of testing activities with business goals, product requirements, and customer expectations.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics, test coverage, release readiness criteria, and quality KPIs.
• Manage testing risks, dependencies, and quality concerns through proactive planning and mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and quality engineering practices.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Development Teams, and key partners to ensure successful delivery.
• Influence decision-making and drive alignment across global and matrix organizations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers and test leads while fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning.
• Support customer engagement, product acceptance, and quality-related communications.
• Ensure predictable and high-quality product releases through effective quality governance and delivery oversight.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Software Verification & Validation, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Test Lead, Test Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience in software product development and working with global multi-functional teams.
• Exposure to Protection Systems, Electrification and Automation, or related industrial domains is preferred.
• Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Quality Governance.
• Verification & Validation (V&V) methodologies and processes.
• Test Effort Estimation, Capacity Planning, and Resource Management.
• Defect Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Agile Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Manual Testing, Test Automation, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Non-Functional Testing.
• Test Management/Defect Management tools.
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance processes.
• Test Metrics, KPI Monitoring, and Release Readiness Assessment.
• Risk Management and Quality Improvement methodologies.
• Networking Concepts and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs).
• Leadership and People Development, partner Management and Influencing
• Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving.
• Decision-Making and Risk Management, collaboration and Teamwork
• Communication and Presentation Skills. customer Focus and Quality Orientation.
