Position Overview:

As an Assembler I, you will support a range of activities in a high-energy production environment to manufacture the best rail vehicles in the world!

What your day may look like:

• Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies following engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and technical instructions with accuracy.
• Operate hand and power tools safely; certifications may be required for cranes, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components as needed.
• Perform tasks using knowledge of various mechanical processes, operations, and equipment.
• Complete work order documentation and quality records, and accurately log labor hours.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

To thrive in this role, you have:

• High school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Proven experience with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatics.

This position in located in Sacramento, CA. The base hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. There is a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.  The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
