Siemens Mobility is the trusted partner for sustainable and seamless public transport solutions for rail and road, from the first to the last mile. We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take a key role in the installation of a major rail signaling project in Taiwan. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate site execution, lead installation teams, local installation subcontractor, and work closely with international engineering and T&C experts within Siemens Mobility. 

Responsibilities:
Planning & Coordination
  • Plan and organize site activities, installation teams, logistics, and detailed scheduling
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly installation plans in line with project milestones
  • Ensure alignment of site execution with the project schedule (e.g. P6-based planning)
  • Prepare and review required documents for customer approval (installation plans, shop drawings, test reports, etc.)

Site Execution & Supervision
  • Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Manage Siemens installation supervisors, ensuring high-quality execution and clear guidance
  • Perform overall quality control and monitor progress, including timely schedule updates and deviation control
  • Enforce health & safety policies, including toolbox talks where required

Subcontractor & Interface Management
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors on site, ensuring alignment with schedule, quality, and project requirements
  • Lead regular progress meetings with subcontractors and ensure sufficient manpower, tools, and equipment are available
  • Identify and address execution issues in a structured and solution-oriented way
  • Serve as key interface between Engineering and Test & Commissioning teams, ensuring smooth handover for T&C activities

Continuous Improvement & Team Development
  • Proactively follow up on site performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with international teams to adopt best practices in installation and testing
  • Support knowledge sharing and lessons learned within the site team


Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of experience in construction, E&M, or infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
  • Strong ability to coordinate complex site activities and communicate with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to plan and execute installation activities and ensure resource alignment (manpower, materials, equipment, etc.)
  • Practical problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach to site challenges
  • Good documentation and reporting skills
  • Experience in leading and developing site teams, including coaching and improving team performance, is highly valued
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop technical and site management capabilities
  • Native Chinese with conversational English
  • Primarily a coordination and management role with a focus on day shift in our EI68 project office near Taipei main station
  • Weekly site presence and night work required occasionally for key activities (minimum four to five nights per month)
  • Travel within Taiwan depending on project needs
