Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a dynamic Finance Operations & Analytics Team Lead to drive the acceleration of the Business Analytics team for DI US LCB.  

This is a key role in driving digitalization of our own processes, new business models and solutions that support strong relationships with all operational stakeholders at DI LCB US level.


The Finance Operations & Analytics Team Lead is a pivotal role that directs and oversees the financial operations and analytics function within the organization. This position combines leadership expertise with deep financial knowledge to drive operational excellence, data-driven decision making, and continuous process improvement across the finance department. The role bridges day-to-day financial operations with strategic analytics to provide valuable insights that support business objectives. This position is a hybrid or remote opportunity depending on the candidate’s background. Remote eligibility applies to current Siemens employees or individuals with a demonstrated history of success in remote work environments.


Job Responsibilities:


Finance Operations & Planning Analysis

  • Led the harmonization of finance processes, reporting standards, and business analytics for DI LCB US enhancing consistency, transparency, and decision-making across the business.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Global HQ to strengthen cross-functional collaboration, driving profitability and enhancing operational efficiency across the DI Automation portfolio.
  • Lead performance analysis across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, ensuring financial accuracy, robust risk management, and operational excellence.
  • Drive complex analysis on business performance, and support in-depth structure changes, reflecting the necessary business lines reporting model
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly journal entries, drive monthly rolling forecast and annual budget consolidation processes for DI LCB USA.
  • Lead product cost transfers, services agreements analysis and evaluates cost structure frequently to support our costing and profitability strategies
  • Lead forecast planning for DI AUT portfolio products, driving capacity decisions at factories in Vienna (AT), Concord (CA) and Peterborough (CA)

Business Analytics & Cost Controlling

  • Develop financial bridges, identifying key elements that influence business profitability.
  • Work actively on ad hoc reporting and customized analysis, supporting senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profit margins, business processes and financial improvements.
  • Standardize cost operations reporting across margin mix, productivity, and controllable expenses, while supporting monthly close with accurate financial insights and reconciliations
  • Develop and maintain tools to track COGS and operational costs, while monitoring product mix, pricing, and promotional impact on margins in collaboration with Sales and Portfolio teams.
  • Drive price increase and margin analysis in collaboration with HQ and factories, leveraging strategic pricing insights and data analytics to forecast and optimize customer pricing levels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner and collaborate with DI stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide solutions for key strategies, growth and financial improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align finance operations with strategic objectives
  • Serve as a financial subject matter expert for cross-functional projects

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance operations professionals.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Manage workload distribution and prioritization to ensure timely delivery of deliverables

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field;
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance operations and analytics
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future. 
  • Ability to travel occasionally (less than 20%). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of team leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and analytics methodologies
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial software, and business intelligence tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
  • Strong project management capabilities with track record of process improvement
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive innovation
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to critically assess data and solve complex problems.
  • Effective team communication, fostering collaboration, trust, and active engagement.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Resilient and adaptable, maintaining focus and composure in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $153,720 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
