Join our Smart Infrastructure (SI) team as our Assistant Factory/Plant Controller to help us provide valuable and outstanding business services to our customers! The successful candidate will add value by ensuring the commercial success of the plant, driving financial accuracy and integrity, actively engaging in design, implementation and adherence to internal controls, reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, monitoring and adherence to KPI’s of the Energy Products (EP) Manufacturing Plant located in Grand Prairie, TX. This person will be part of the leadership team and commercial partner to operations while managing commercial activities and drive commercial success of the plant.
This position will report to the Plant Controller and will interact on a regular basis with business segment as well as operational senior management:**This is a hybrid position so the chosen candidate will be able to work from home 2-3 days a week.**
You will make an impact:
- Help define long-term strategic targets and drive their implementation by breaking them into achievable short-term objectives in a highly dynamic environment. Your strategic insights will shape the future of our plant.
- Take ownership of planning, controlling, accounting, and reporting activities of the plant. This includes managing economic value add, gross profit, investments, and net working capital to ensure financial health and growth.
- Lead the month-end closing process, including the preparation of journal entries for revenue and cost accruals. Analyze results, investigate deviations in detail, implement corrective actions, and present summarized findings to senior management.
- Oversee expansion projects from a commercial standpoint, including comparing business plans and functioning as a gatekeeper to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Manage CAPEX projects from conceptualization through approvals, PO, delivery, payment, and capitalization. Evaluate the financial benefits of these projects to ensure they add value to the business.
- Drive innovation by standardizing and digitalizing existing processes. Identify opportunities to develop new KPIs or reporting mechanisms that add business value and enhance decision-making.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
- BS in Accounting or Finance.
- 4 plus years of experience as a team lead/supervisor, with a proven track record of developing and leading teams/individuals. *preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- In depth knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and a strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting process
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI or KNIME

- The pay range for this position is $88,060 - $150,960 and comes with a 10% incentive compensation. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location
