Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking a highly experienced individual for a position as a Security Administrator II.  The ideal candidate has the initiative to expand their knowledge in the security facility space and is willing to further develop in that area of expertise. 

Responsibilities will be broad but mainly focus on administrative tasks in support of the corporate office and the Facility Security Officers, Senior FSO and AFSO. As a member of the corporate security team, you will provide assistance to multiple levels of the business in regard to personnel, facility and physical security actions. The primary work location will be Crystal City, VA (onsite) and will report to the Senior Facility Security Officer. Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:
•Greet clients and visitors upon their arrival following standard operating procedures which include the issuing of visitor badges, completion of sign-in logs, and connecting them with the appropriate party. Escort visitors to appropriate relocation, if necessary.
•Responsible for processing visitor requests for upcoming meetings.
•Responsible for personnel badge creation for new personnel and badge collection for departed personnel. 
•Responsible for security briefings and de-briefings related to personnel security and office specific programs, including but not limited to, safeguarding.
•Answer phone calls in a timely manner and direct calls accordingly.
•Managing scheduling of meetings and conference rooms.
•Responsible for maintaining the visitor logs.
•Maintain daily log of all actions performed throughout the day.
•Copy, file and maintain paper or electronic confidential documents and records.
•Handle incoming and outgoing mail; process and distribute mail accordingly internally.
•Update various databases with private employees, or other confidential information.
•Responsible for Building Management work orders.
•Secure premises and personnel by patrolling floors, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
•Control access to restricted areas of floor.
•Maintain lobby, security desk and break area in a neat and orderly manner at all times and responsible for maintaining stock inventory.
•Provide support to the Assistant and Senior Facility Security Officer (FSO) operations in government applications and appropriate databases such as NBIS, SWFT, NISS & DISS and any other Industrial Security duties including, but not limited to, submitting background investigations, gathering personnel data and uploading to appropriate SGT database system. 
•Assist with Insider Threat working group. 
•Responsible for monitoring security/camera system.
•Assist with updating FOCI procedures and providing suggestions for improvement. 
•Provide support on any other pertinent duties assigned by management.

Requirements:
•Associates degree or equivalent work experience of three years providing administrative level support and handling of confidential or secure documentation.
•Must reside within a 30-minute commute distance of our Crystal City corporate office in order to respond promptly to after-hours alarms or emergencies
•Three (3) years of experience providing administrative level support to a federal contractor or industrial security
•Experience in access control; personnel and facility security; to include but limited to access control software and systems, personnel security policies and procedures, and facility physical security requirements.
•Experience maintaining databases (DISS, NBIS, SWFT, NISS) 
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Effectively work with people at all levels, from support staff to senior executives; willingness to contribute wherever needed, providing support for operational activities, day-to-day needs, and special events.
•Demonstrate strength in problem solving.
•Customer Service – Ability to interact in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner with internal and external customers.
•Attention to detail regarding spelling and grammar skills, solid working knowledge of MS office.
•Excellent communication skills, ability, think on their feet, great listening skills, and have ability to make staff and visitors feel valued and appreciated.
•Demonstrate the ability to focus and prioritize workflow effectively, while managing correspondence and maintaining accurate records Able to complete tasks efficiently; Able to prioritize urgent matters and resolve an issue successfully.
•Entrusted with handling sensitive documents and confidential information. It is imperative that such matters are treated with the utmost discretion and are not disclosed inappropriately. Ability to make sound decisions and anticipate or recognize problems and be able to refer them quickly to the right person or department for a resolution. 

Security clearance:
•Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess the ability to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. federal government Secret security clearance upon hire. An interim Secret clearance is required prior to start. There is potential for an upgrade to a Top Secret security clearance based on role requirements.

The pay range for this position is 64,200 - 87,000 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
