Position – Product Quality Manager _Partner Products

Mode of employment: Full time

This role is a HQ function, located within the Segment IAA (India, ASEAN and Africa) and is 
focusing on product quality within our Segment.  
Major focus of the role is monitoring, continuously improving of the product quality together with supply partners which necessitates willingness and ability for frequent travelling within India (60-70%).

Qualification:  
Education: Diploma/ Graduate Electrical engineer or higher 
Experience: 8-10 years of experience in product quality function of Low Voltage Switchgear products _MCCB, ACB etc.

• Hands on experience in assembly and routine testing of mainly MCCB, ACB, MCCB and/or other LV switchgear products
• Good understanding of product standards i.e.  IS/IEC 60947 for routine testing
• Monitoring and analysis of current quality topics/ rejection, teste etc. in production and initiate actions for preventive/corrective measures for improvements
• Monitoring and analysis of complaint products 
• initiate improvements for preventive /corrective measures and drive for product improvement
• escalation of critical quality problems to the head of quality management of the organization
• obliged to stop the development or production and delivery of the products in the event of a serious quality problem
• process quality in the PLM process in product Q area
o support in determination of project activities (tailoring) and scope in cooperation with the Project Manager for projects, SAR, product changes
o review and Approval of Quality Gates
o advice on process compliance (EP Rules & Regulations)
o active controlling to ensure process compliance for milestone release.
o monitors and confirms the production of all decisive and approved technical changes
• responsible for all aspects of quality during SCM integration and the production life cycle and manages them through defined quality objectives
• involvement for defining quality requirements in the product definition (RS/FS) throughout the product life cycle
• participates in purchasing product qualification, sourcing, preventive quality assurance, serial release, complaints and supplier management
• supports development throughout the entire product lifecycle as part of the product improvement
• Experience in implementing production related quality system in new production lines at supplier
• Hands on experience of measuring instruments – DMM, oscilloscope etc.
• regular collaboration with different functions like BD, PRM, other Segment/countries related for product related topics
