Position Overview:

Join Our Team at Siemens Mobility in Boston

Siemens Mobility has a new opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator at our Boston, MA facility.  We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized individual to ensure a quick turnaround of materials for 3 projects: ACS-64, ALC-42 and our new Airo project.  If you are a detail-oriented individual and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be your ideal position.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are met in accordance with Siemens.
  • Organizational ability – (schedules, records, materials, time, etc.).
  • Time Management - (material schedule, lead times, work/life balance, special projects, etc.).
  • Material Management- (transit to/from, unit allocation, lead time awareness, cores, unscheduled needs, etc.).
  • Communication Management – (reports, updates, requests and directions with all required partners).
  • Interact with the leadership as needed on all site issues, systems, and related facility operations.
  • Liaison Management – (ability to make and maintain good relationships with customers, coworkers, clients, and all other associates as necessary throughout the workday.).
  • Record Management - (Service Orders, Work Orders, MDR’s, Serial Numbers, Emails, Core returns, etc.).

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • High School Diploma / GED,
  • 2+ years of warehouse and/or rail related experience,
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP, Microsoft Office (including Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint),
  • Experience with overall material planning to include managing system stocking levels to ensure required material is on hand when required,
  • Experience with material identification/validation for maintenance,
  • Operations oversight of materials and logistics experience,
  • Excellently demonstrated English language technical communication skills in speaking, reading and writing,
  • Excellent customer service, time management and follow-up skills,
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills,
  • Creative, resourceful, meticulous, and highly organized,
  • Setting you apart from others would be an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree.

The pay range for this position is $78,500.00 - $92,100.00 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
