The part you will play
In P&O, we co-own the Siemens Transformation alongside the business. Our ambition is to drive an inclusive, empowering culture of growth and transformation that grants sustainable business success as well as employability of our people.
- Be a trusted partner to the Nordic Leadership team and a member of the Management Team, translating business requirements into people imperatives across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the Baltics and co-owning the business transformation.
- Leverage your business acumen to stay informed about industry developments and their impact on people and organizational aspects to support business success.
- Make and support decisions based on analysis and interpretation of data, using relevant technologies where appropriate.
- Locally lead the entire P&O value chain (including shared services), orchestrating the delivery of the P&O portfolio to the business.
- Ensure compliance of people services with Siemens governance, P&O policies, local labor laws, data privacy, and local legislation.
- Collaborate with partners and service providers such as GBS to drive strategic digitalization and ensure consistent delivery of integrated P&O services with a compelling people experience including “getting the basics right”.
- Challenge and assess P&O services, processes and systems (incl. proposal, implementation and operation) end-to-end.
- Work closely with and oversee relationships with Workers Councils and Labor Unions representing Siemens employees across the region where appropriate.
- Partner with business leaders to drive change.
- Advocate local needs to the Global Ecosystem and act as an ambassador for Global initiatives and Business Transformation.
- Role model a “Siemens First” mindset, prioritizing global organizational value over the creation of local tools, individual processes and personal goals.
- Contextualize and echo the Global P&O Strategy ensuring it is accessible and understood across The Nordics.
- Play an active part and collaborate in the P&O Regional community and the P&O Ecosystem.
- Coach, mentor and enable senior executives to become even more effective leaders.
- Build a diverse, proactive, and robust talent pipeline with a specific focus on critical roles and skills. Ensuring all succession plans are kept up to date.
- Foster empowering leadership
- Role model the creation of psychologically safe spaces, ensuring our people can be themselves at work, thereby fostering well-being and influencing leaders’ mindset.
- Empower people to show their full potential.
- Create awareness and promote available learning and people development initiatives.

- Be well connected in professional networks and represent Siemens externally to authorities and partners.
- Represent Siemens and our people locally to build a robust talent ecosystem
- Are an experienced P&O professional with a track record of leadership, people management and partner accountability, preferably across several countries.
- Bring diverse perspectives with preferably 2+ years international experience or strong exposure across the Nordic countries.
- Understand the business as well as the external market and the implications for people experience and decision making.
- Bring a Growth Mindset and consider yourself as a self-reflected learner as well as a resilient adaptor.
- Are a real collaborator capable of developing a positive work environment and empowering teams, both within P&O and other areas of Siemens.
- Are a skilled communicator, strategic storyteller and an integrator.
- Have proven experience in the area of Workers Council / Labor Union relations.
- Are a role model in terms of Siemens values and leadership behavior for our Siemens community as well as in your interaction with external organizations.
- Are proficient in written and spoken English and Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finish – this is a must.
- 2 to 3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard.
