We’re looking for an Associate Vice President for our Aerospace and Defence Vertical who will lead on business development, establishing innovative strategies and consulting engagements that meet client expectations. This role will see you build trusted relationships with C-level executives, craft tailored solutions, and spearhead sales strategies that leverage cutting-edge technology for sustainable growth.

This role will be location independent, with regular travel to customer sites. 

You’ll create impact by: 

Engage C-Level Stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with CXOs and key partners across Aerospace & Defence, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor and representing Siemens Advanta within the Key Account Manager (KAM) network.

Lead Strategic Sales: Drive account strategy and sales execution, leveraging Siemens’ portfolio to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that support clients’ digital transformation.

Shape Digital Futures: Oversee complex consulting engagements, delivering cutting-edge digital strategies and technology-driven competitive advantages.

Design Winning Solutions: Qualify leads, define client needs, and lead proposal development with cross-functional teams to craft tailored, high-impact solutions.

Champion Collaboration: Act as a senior client interface, fostering long-term relationships and working across Siemens teams globally to maximize client value.

Drive Thought Leadership: Contribute to marketing and thought leadership initiatives to elevate Siemens Advanta’s profile in the Aerospace & Defence ecosystem.

Own the Sales Cycle: Manage end-to-end sales processes including forecasting, cost estimation, and negotiation, ensuring timely and successful deal closure.

Accelerate Transformation: Support Advanta’s strategic goals by driving innovation and transformation across the region, acting as a catalyst for change.

You’re excited to build upon your existing expertise, including: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Science, or IT, combined with a proven track record of strategic leadership and business development in the Aerospace and Defence sectors. Advanced degrees (MBA, PhD) are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Significant experience in Aerospace & Defence or consulting within this space, focused on digital transformation across R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain 
  • Strong industry network and ability to build client relationships from day one 
  • Proven track record in delivering tech-driven solutions and application development 
  • Deep domain knowledge enabling tailored, industry-specific proposals 
  • Solid understanding of IoT, edge devices, AI, cybersecurity, and IT/OT integration 
  • Experience working on international, cross-border projects 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with focus on value creation and operational efficiency 
  • Collaborative, analytical, and solutions-oriented approach 
  • Fluent in English with clear, confident communication skills
