EHS Professional – Gurgaon Siemens Energy, Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities across multiple project sites within the assigned region, ensuring full compliance with legal, SEIL, and client EHS requirements.​
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve region-wide EHS management systems, standardizing procedures and promoting best practices in alignment with company strategies.​
  • Mentor and supervise site EHS teams; coordinate resource allocation, assess competency, and deliver ongoing safety training and development.
  • Review and approve project-specific EHS documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, emergency response plans, and legal registers.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations region-wide; ensure all corrective and preventive actions are resolved promptly.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance indicators, report trends to senior management, and recommend improvement initiatives.​
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for all EHS issues within the region, with full authority to halt unsafe activities if required.
  • Engage with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a proactive safety culture and harmonize EHS standards.
  • Communicate and enforce compliance with regulatory changes, maintain an up-to-date legal register, and guarantee monthly EHS performance reporting.
  • Champion zero tolerance for EHS violations, implement stop work authority when standards are breached, and uphold rewards and consequence policies.

Key Competencies Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of EHS management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and regional legislation.
  • Proven multi-site/regional safety leadership experience.
  • Strong initiative, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Track record in developing safety strategy, team leadership, and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex training programs and motivate site teams.
  • The role carries full accountability for EHS outcomes in the region, leading operational excellence and safety culture across all assigned project sites.

B. Qualifications:

Professional qualifications: Diploma/Advance/PG diploma in industrial safety.

Basic qualifications: Degree/Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Science Graduate.

Experience: Minimum 09–12 years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 5 years in a senior safety management role overseeing multiple project sites, business units, or a geographic region in construction, energy, or heavy industry
