Your Role – Learn, Grow, and Make an Impact
- Design, configure, and implement Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) systems for MV switchgear and Ring Main Unit (RMU) applications.
- Integrate RTUs with SCADA and automation systems in line with client and project requirements.
- Prepare wiring diagrams, connection schematics, and related technical documentation.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT); support on-site commissioning and start-up.
- Troubleshoot and resolve RTU-related issues during installation and operation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compatibility of hardware and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus).
- Stay current with communication standards, networking protocols, and automation technologies.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project clarity and success.
- Ensure all activities align with project timelines, quality assurance, and safety standards.
- Provide technical documentation and support for project handover and future maintenance.
Your Qualifications – Bright, Curious, and Eager to Learn
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics & Communication, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- First work experience in RTU system design, configuration, or integration—especially for MV switchgear or RMU.
- Familiarity with substation automation, SCADA architectures, and communication network design.
- Experience with testing tools, diagnostic software, or communication analyzers is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and support field activities as needed.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine interest in building a long-term career in smart grid and digital energy technologies.
