We are looking for a Performance Excellence & Operational Transformation Manager to join our team at Roebuck, SC.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to architect and lead our Performance Excellence Program within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for identifying systemic operational gaps, designing a unified performance management framework, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, KPI development, Visual Management, and cross-functional alignment to elevate our operational performance and employee engagement.

You'll make an Impact by:

Performance Framework Development

  • Design and implement a comprehensive performance management framework tailored to manufacturing operations.
  • Standardize Lean principles, Continuous Improvement practices, Visual Management tools, and KPI tracking systems across all departments.

KPI Development & Management

  • Define, develop, and deploy framework for key performance indicators (KPIs) at our plants, departments, and individual levels.
  • Ensure KPIs are aligned with strategic goals and are actionable, measurable, and visible.
  • Establish governance processes for regular KPI reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Operational Excellence & Lean Leadership

  • Lead the deployment of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Gemba Walks, etc.).
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and problem-solving workshops to drive measurable improvements.
  • Identify and eliminate waste across processes, systems, and workflows.

Employee Engagement & Capability Building

  • Develop training programs to build internal capabilities in Lean, CI, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure employees understand how their daily work impacts broader business goals.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with leaders in Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and P&O to ensure consistent execution of the performance management framework.
  • Lead the development of “Towers of Information” and visual management centers to promote transparency and collaboration.

Change Management & Communication

  • Drive change initiatives with clear communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of new systems and processes, adjusting as needed.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with KPI development and performance dashboards.
  • Proven success in designing and implementing performance frameworks in a manufacturing setting.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, Lean leadership, or business transformation roles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification

The pay range for this position is $102,459 - $175,644 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
