Interface Manager - Signalling

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all signalling-related interfaces across onshore, offshore, and external project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with offshore design teams to ensure deliverables align with onshore requirements and project timelines.
- Review and consolidate design submissions (SIP, Bonding Plan, Cable Plan, ATP, Book of Wiring), ensuring alignment and consistency with interface requirements.
- Lead signalling-interlocking interface activities with ATP, CTC, Communication, Civil & Building, Trackwork, and Electrification teams.
- Manage and oversee all interface documentation, including ICDs, IDDs, and Interface Matrices, ensuring compliance with project standards, Siemens procedures, and relevant railway regulations.
- Facilitate technical discussions, interface meetings, and workshops to resolve issues efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Maintain ongoing communication between offshore and onshore teams to track design status, updates, and issue resolution.
- Ensure accurate consolidation of Bills of Materials for all sub-projects/work packages, maintaining proper change control.
- Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) phases and provide technical assistance during integration, installation, and on-site activities.
- Escalate critical design or coordination issues promptly and report project progress to the Technical / Project Manager.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Railway Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in railway signalling design, interface management, or system integration for mainline projects.
- Strong knowledge of Main Line Signalling systems (Interlocking, CTC, ATP, ETCS); experience with KTMB projects is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of signalling principles, interlocking systems, safety standards, and interface circuits.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and coordinate effectively between offshore and onshore teams.
- Proficiency in signalling design tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Experience working with Main Contractors, Clients, and Interface Partners.
- Associate IRSE membership and valid driver’s license are added advantages.
