About the Job
We are looking for a motivated college student with a strong interest in data analytics and artificial intelligence to join our team as an intern. This role offers hands-on experience working with real-world data, building analytical solutions, and exploring AI concepts in a business context.
What you will do
- Assist in data preparation and cleaning for analytics projects.
- Support the development of dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools.
- Work with team members to analyze datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Contribute to basic Python scripts for data manipulation and automation.
- Explore and document AI/ML concepts relevant to ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and engineers on data pipeline improvements.
What you need
- Rising senior, graduating in 2027 pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Basic Python programming (data manipulation, simple scripts).
- Understanding of data structures (lists, dictionaries, arrays).
- Familiarity with data analytics concepts (descriptive statistics, visualization).
- Awareness of AI fundamentals (machine learning basics, common use cases).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL or any database query language.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, or similar).
- Coursework or projects in AI/ML or data science.

The hourly pay range for this position $28 - $33 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
