This is an exciting time to join the team as we embark on a number of new product developments and expland our R&D capabilities and work within a dynamic engineering change environment.

Join our engineering team to help shape the future of diagnostic healthcare. In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for Atellica™ immunoassay analyzers, a cutting-edge platform used in clinical laboratories worldwide.

Strong coding and development skills are essential for this position, to contribute to the development and delivery of solutions, on complex projects, from concept to implementation.

This role reports to Software Engineering Manager.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions C++ (11/17) & C (99/11).
  • Design and development of high-quality software solutions in a deterministic/real-time, multi-threaded environment.
  • Work with ARM processor architecture, micro-controller and other embedded systems.
  • Design and build testing strategies including unit testing and code reviews.


Your qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree; relevant software development experience in C++.
  • Ability to integrate software with different technologies (fluidic sensing/electronics/motion control or vision).
  • Experience coding in a regulated environment is preferable.
  • Experience of real-time systems over CAN Open or another protocol is desirable.
