We are seeking an Operations Project Manager / NPI Lead. This position will be based at Spartanburg SC or Peachtree Corners GA.

You’ll make a difference with the following duties:

New Product Introduction (NPI):

  • Utilize your NPI experience in representing Operations in the NPI efforts for (SI EP NA) Siemens Infrastructure Electrical Products North America
  • Monitor and evaluate all NPI efforts early in the process for impact on Operations processes
  • Determine scope of Impact to include the right personnel/plants/functions in the review of proposed new products
  • Research, Identify, and Request Engineering changes, process modifications, etc. to improve operational flow and implementation of NPI

Strategic Projects (Framing, Implementation, and Leadership)

  • Translate operational needs / improvements into financial impacts through evaluation of operational impacts (using our Capital Expense /ROI justification process).
  • Implement new products, technologies & solutions in an operationally sustainable manner, documenting these solutions for scalability at our other plants.
  • Provide Project Management Leadership, Mentorship, and Empowerment to expand and improve our capacities to manage more projects.

Leadership & Organizational Change

  • Facilitate and coach teams at all organizational levels, fostering open dialogue, self-realization, and effective conflict resolution.
  • Encourage a culture of high performance through strategic organizational change and promoting continuous organizational learning.
  • Model lean activities, envisioning future states and guiding the organization through the necessary steps to achieve them.

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, avoiding jargon and ensuring understanding and adoption.
  • Build strong relationships and motivate multidisciplinary teams through effective written and verbal communication across all organizational levels.
  • Facilitate cross-level engagement, strategic deployment status updates, and accurately estimate resources for project goals.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Business or recognized STEM field.
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
    • Electrical power distribution or control industry
    • Implementing new products across a large, complex organization within a manufacturing environment.
    • Managing a portfolio of many projects in multiple subject areas/environments. (PLM process)
    • Demonstrated lean experience in manufacturing, including proficiency in lean tools (e.g., A3, VSMs, KPI Measurement Systems).
    • Effective, proven experience in organizational change, including facilitation, conflict resolution, and leading change across multiple levels.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and passion for safety in industrial production environment.
  • Travel required: up to 50% in North America (most common locations Spartanburg and Peachtree Corners)
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in engineering and/or engineered product management.
  • Experience in the electrical apparatus / power distribution & control industry.
  • Sheet metal and electrical assembly experience.
  • PMP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with digitalization and data analytics.

The pay range for this position is 91,463 - 156,794 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
